Italian harpist Arianna Rossi is already an accomplished harpist, laureate of numerous European competitions.
Arianna is a member of the Chamber Orchestra of Lausanne, having successfully auditioned for the position of substitute in October 2015.
Arianna has completed, with the highest marks, her bachelor degree at the Conservatory Giuseppe Verdi of Turin in the class of Gabriella Bosio. Afterwards, she won the CRT Scholarship in order to study in Lausanne, at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Lausanne where she obtained two Masters (in 2013 and 2015) in the class of Letizia Belmondo.
Over the course of her career, Arianna has been awarded in several competitions. These include a 3rd prize in the Petar Konjovic Harp Competition in Belgrade in 2015, as well as a 2nd prize at the International Harp Competition of Szeged, Hungary in 2013. In addition, she received a 1st prize at the Classica Live Competition in Torino, Italy in 2014. Besides, in 2010 Arianna won the 1st prize in the National Arts Award in Napoli (Italy) followed by a special prize of the audience and a 1st prize in the International Harp Competition in Versilia (Italy). She also won prizes in competitions in Padova (Italy), Saluzzo (Italy) and Paris (France) and was awarded the scholarship of the “CRT Master dei talenti musicali” three times.
Arianna is a passionate orchestral musician. During the year 2013/2014 she was a member of the Berner Symphonieorchester, Switzerland, having successfully auditioned for the position in April 2013. She played several projects as a soloist: in November 2015 the Debussy’s Dances with the Orchestre de chambre du Valais; in June 2015 the Mozart harp and flute concerto with the Amabilis Orchestra and in September 2014 she played the Haendel harp concerto with the Orchestra Femminile Italiana.
She also took part in workshops and performances with conductors such as: Mario Venzago, Daniel Kawka, Roberto Giuffré, Jeff Silberschlag, Eiji Oue, Josep Caballé-Domenech, Michael Sanderling, Rumon Gamba. Additionaly, Arianna has performed with the Filarmonica Jora Bacau in Romania, the CEI Youth Symphony Orchestra with a tour in Italy and in Austria, the Filarmonica of Turin and the Orchestre des Jeunes de la Suisse Romande with concerts in halls like the Victoria Hall in Geneva, the Tonhalle of Düsseldorf, the Liederhalle in Stuttgart, the Heinrich Lades Halle in Erlangen, the Musikkollegium in Winterthur and the Tonhalle in Zürich.
Arianna had the pleasure to work with many inspirational teachers during a number of masterclasses, including: Emmanuel Ceysson, Fabrice Pierre, Luisa Prandina, Judith Liber, Cathrine Michel, Gabriella Dall’Olio, Park Stickney and Elisabeth-Fontain Binoche.
